Saturday Adventures... Fayetteville??

Last Saturday, We all hopped in the car and drove to Fayetteville for a visit to Sir's Fabric and to do a little antique shopping. It's a great little town square to visit and they have several good antique shops and a couple of good restaurants. Honey's is the town square's little dive/pool hall/diner. They have fantastic hamburgers so we stopped there for lunch. I took a few colorful and, well, weird photos to share...

Some Amazing Kids!

Last Sunday I had the wonderful opportunity to take a few photos of a extraordinary group of kids. This verse pretty much sums up what their goal is:

Based on the gifts they have received, everyone should use it to serve others,
as good managers of the varied grace of God. I Peter 4:10

Check out my friend's blog to read all about what they are doing to help those in Haiti who are still in need of daily essentials.

Saturday Adventures... Flea Market of course

This past Saturday was flea market weekend so of course, we went to the Nashville Flea Market. We got a few things in the very brief time we were there. I got a new prop suitcase which of course I'm excited about. Our flea market and fairgrounds are in danger of being closed so we were happy to see that the flea market was PACKED! We normally go very early but we went around 10 am this time... won't do that again!

Afterwards we went to try Savarino's Cucina in Hillsboro Village. It was recently featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and it looked fabulous. Check out the desserts we got,,, the cannoli was awesome.

Saturday Adventures... Hot Spots

This past Saturday I had a family shoot in Murfreesboro then I had to head to Nashville to drop a photo off to a client. I thought since Leon was working and I was off for the afternoon, I might as well do a little rambling around and hit a few spots that I have neglected since I have been so busy.
If you ever have the time, check out Pre To Post Modern on 8th Avenue, Bookman/Bookwoman in Hillsboro Village, The Cat Shoppe on Bransford (yes, there's a dog store too), and Pangea in Hillsboro Village. The upper right photo is at Municipal Auditorium... I just couldn't resist the sign that says the Legends of Hip Hop are coming!
