chilly, but fun

we had the best time on Saturday shooting a lovely family, a BIG family. They were having a great time as I think you can see. We had fun too and loved the chance to shoot at their farm. The rocky area is actually the remains of an old plantation house.... love it!

These kids do it ALL! It was a bit chilly but beautiful outside on Sunday afternoon. This family was a lot of fun and I wanted to make sure they got a preview of their beautiful photos... more to come in a few days!

it was freezing!

no, you aren't seeing double...

Leon and I had a great time at Percy Warner Park on Sunday with some of our good friends. It was pretty chilly but we survived and by the time we got back to Murfreesboro I could feel my toes again. Here's a little preview of their photos... the fall colors made them extra pretty.

so excited to be able to work with boys for a change. Seems like I photograph girls alot so this was fun. These guys are cousins and I think they had a lot of fun together that day. The little one is a spitfire and won't stand still for long..
yes, he is wearing an authentic kilt. isn't that the most adorable thing you have ever seen?

a new week...

This week marks a milestone for me... I have an official website! www.angelparduephoto.com I feel like a big deal now. The night it finally started to come together, I was working on it upstairs by myself and I thought how far God has brought me. I couldn't help but let the tears run down my cheeks as I praised Him for all I have. He has led me this far and I can never be grateful enough. I have the most supportive and encouraging husband I could ever ask for. I really believe he wants this dream for me as much as I do. And as long as it is what God wants too, we'll keep moving forward!
There is alot going on in the world right now... the election, the economy... I saw a sign today and thought it was worth sharing. Basically, it says "Worried about the economy crisis? Read Psalm 4:6-8." Here is it for you...

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us O, Lord. You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:6-8

the excitement continues...

Just a quick note to all my clients... I am in the process of beginning a new website which will serve as a portfolio AND proofing area. So your online galleries are going to be out of commission for a couple of days while I transfer everything over to the new site! For all of you who still had an active gallery on the old site, a new one with the same password will be on the new site very soon. Thanks for your patience and I hope you like the new look! The new site will be found at www.angelparduephoto.com !

it's been a while

Wow it really has been a whole month since I last posted. In the meantime I have been working on my new website, getting my new computer up and running, getting things organized and ready for our art show on the 4th, celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary AND we even slid in a week in Gulf Shores. Here are a few of our beach pictures...
This photo of Leon beside the "shipwreck" was pretty cool. We were there right after Hurricane Ike passed through and it uncovered this old confederate ship. Nobody has determined exactly what happened and when it would have been on the water, but speculation is that it's a blockade runner. I have more photos that I will post later after I edit them a little.

My calendar for fall photos is beginning to fill. If you are interested in a session with your family amongst God's palette of fall colors, please let me know as soon as you can.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!  How vast the sum of them!  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.
Psalm 139:17-18
