Little Hannah was born a little early.... well, at 28 weeks actually. She's doing great and everyone was so happy to visit with her mom and have some fun visiting together. I was so fortunate to shoot this special time...the petit fours.... yum! all the hostesses with Hannah's mom (in purple) so many adorable gifts! Thanks to Stacie and Anita who were hostesses and who "hired" me to be the photographer. It was a fantastic idea since nobody had to worry about taking photos and were able to relax and enjoy!
Yes, I have definitely neglected my blog, but trust me, I have been working. Get ready for new shots from this spring to be posted very soon. Also they will be much larger than before.... I'm working on that right now!
i cannot believe that it has been almost a month since I have posted on this blog! o.k., let me start by saying that November 2009 was the busiest month I've had so far and I have been literally burning the candle at both ends. I think I've done a total of 10 shoots over 4 weeks. This probably doesn't seem like much but I still hold down a basically full-time job during the week! Not to mention that I have also had H1N1 and a severe case of poison ivy in that same 4 weeks! The poison ivy was just a matter of time... I roll around on the ground taking pictures alot. Well here are a few from the past month and there will probably be many more to come...
I have this one last photo to share... this is Leon dragging my camera "cart" while carrying one doggie under his arm and the other by the leash. He helped me all day and never complained or acted tired. I don't know what I would have done without him. He is my main supporter and encourager and comes up with alot of poses and ideas when my brain gets too tired to come up with any more. He whistles at dogs to get them to look at the camera, he talks to babies to make them smile, he hands me another lens when I ask, and helps me get up and down on ledges, walls and rocks where I am too short to climb.
I know most husbands would not do these things, especially without complaining. I am so lucky to have married such a man and I don't know what I did to deserve him! Thank you God!
