I am bound and determined to update my blog more regularly, but right now every two weeks will have to do. I am in a cleaning mode for some reason, and Leon is working on a project in our bonus room, so the house feels upside down.
Luckily, last weekend, the time had finally come. Janece, Tracie and myself headed to our weekend away in Gatlinburg. It came not a moment too soon. Basically, we ate, watched movies back to back to back and totally vegged out. We are never ready to leave and are usually planning the next trip on the way home. We are all lucky to have such wonderful husbands who allow us to do this.
Our fondue tea party was delicious...
and you can see that the cake went over well... (we ALWAYS have a birthday cake)
I got this shot at a country store on the way home.
Bonnie is getting big... she is enjoying the weather and being able to sit in the window.
This past Saturday, I had a shoot in East Nashville at Lockeland Baptist Church. This is the neighborhood I grew up in so I went a little early to take a few shots.
This is the sign at the beauty salon that my mom used to go to and where I started tanning when I was 16 and where I got my first haircut... it's now an artist's co-op I think.
This is building near Steiner-Liff.... yes, I know I shouldn't have been over there by myself. I can't help it. There's good stuff there.
Here's the gang I was shooting photos for... do you see the little one in the pink running away from the group?? She was done...
but I caught her later on... look at those eyes!
